My best years are yet to come!

My personality: Sweet, sociable, gentle.

My story: I was admitted to Soi Dog at the ripe old age of 10. I was suffering from heartworm, my fur was thin and patchy and someone had cruelly slashed me across the shoulder. It was clear that a decade on the streets had taken its toll on me. But with treatment, my heartworm cleared, my coat grew back thick and soft, my wound healed and I felt ready to take on the world again!

My health: Like any older dog, I have my aches and pains and may need medication and supplements to help me stay active. I also have the early stages of kidney disease, so I take a renal diet to keep me as healthy as possible.

What makes me unique: My habit of greeting everyone I meet with a signature Aquagirl kiss, whether they’re new acquaintances or old friends.

What I need: A loving home to call my own for the first time in my life. I’m happy to share that home with other dogs, but it’s best if they’re a similar age to me or of a calm temperament like me. 

Why you should adopt me: I’m a true golden oldie with so much love to give, and I believe I deserve just as much of a chance at happiness as the younger dogs here. I know my best years are yet to come, and I’d love to spend them with you!
