Gender: Male

Age: 4 years and 10 months

Colour: Tan and White

Weight: 19 kg

Looking for a companion? Me too!

My personality: Cheerful, laid back, loving.

My story: For the first four years of my life, I got by on the streets with the help of two kind locals who fed and looked out for me. But one day I came back at dinnertime barely able to walk, so they called for help. It turns out I’d ruptured my right Achilles tendon. Although Soi Dog did their best to repair this with surgery, I was still struggling to walk, so they had to amputate my leg.

My health: It might sound strange, but the amputation actually restored my mobility, and I’m able to get around just fine now. Still, I’m not one for long walks or zoomies. A couple of gentle laps around the lake here at the shelter is fine for me, stopping every now and then for some head scratches of course!

What I need: As I’m not a super active boy, and as I need to be careful not to put too much pressure on my remaining legs, a calm, low-energy home would be best for me.

What makes me unique: My bushy swooshy tail which, when I wag it, acts as a big fan for anyone nearby! It’s great for beating the heat here in Thailand.

Why you should adopt me: Maybe you work part-time or from home and are looking for a companion? Maybe you want a best friend rather than an adventure buddy? If so, I’m your boy! Although I can be a little cautious around new people, I reward those who take the time to get to know me with plenty of love and affection.
